A visit from Grandma Nikolai

Grandma Nikolai took a trip up to WI to visit family and ended her travels by staying with us for two nights. The kids loved it! We went to the Betty Brinn Children's Museum in Milwaukee and brought along lunches so we could eat there too. Caleb had been there before, but the rest of us hadn't. It was such a neat place and we'll definitely go back again.

Labor Day Weekend -- Adventures in Milwaukee

Tim's friend, Sahiry, who is currently going to law school at DePaul University down by Chicago, decided to venture into Wisconsin with her husband, Jose, and their friend, Dipesh. They were touring Milwaukee so after Sonya's nap, we met them at Bayshore to hang out for a little bit and then we went downtown by Tim's work so we could walk around. It was a multi-cultural group with Sahiry from the Dominican Republic, Jose from Angola, and Dipesh from Nepal.

Sonya likes Sahiry's hat :-)

Sometimes there are no words to describe the beauty that God has created.
