Strawberry Picking!

I haven't been strawberry picking since I was a kid. I went to Little Farmer's with my grandma. It was just one of those moments that I'll never forget. It's possible that I went back there after that, but those memories never stuck. So I was happy to finally have the chance to take my kids strawberry picking for their very first time. We decided to visit Walvoord's Farm just outside of Cedar Grove. The berries were big and juicy. Yum! Thanks to my friend, Debbie, for taking photos!! (My camera was out of fresh batteries).

A Weekend in June - Part 2 (Matt & Jamie's wedding)

A Weekend in June - Part 1 (Up North, at the Cottage)

Tim's cousin, Matt, got married just after Caleb finished 1st grade. So we drove up north by Tim's grandparents to visit with them for a little bit amidst the wedding celebrations. We also used their place as our sleeping quarters for two nights.

On Friday, we spent part of the afternoon at a cottage that Tim's Aunt Paula and Uncle Paul were renting for the week with their kids. There were two lakes for fishing, boating, and swimming. It was a nice place to relax before the wedding festivities.
